As an assistant manager, you will assume complete responsibility for all operations during your shift, encompassing cost control, inventory management, cash handling, and customer relations. General job duties for all store team members include operating all necessary equipment, stocking ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas, preparing products, processing telephone orders, managing inventory while completing associated paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of the equipment and facility on a daily basis.

Orientation and training will be provided on the job. Effective communication skills are essential, including the ability to comprehend and provide clear written instructions, and to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to fulfill orders efficiently.

Essential functions and skills include competency in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division), the ability to calculate monetary change accurately, proficiency in verbal and written communication for order processing, motor coordination for precise tasks, and navigational skills to effectively locate addresses within the delivery area.

Candidates should expect to work in conditions that may include varying weather when performing outdoor tasks, as well as exposure to in-store temperatures ranging from 36 to over 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and safety in cramped quarters, managing hot surfaces and equipment, and navigating diverse terrain during deliveries.

Qualifications for starting as a General Manager include one year as a GM at Domino’s Pizza or two years in a supervisory role at any other quick-service restaurant (QSR). Candidates who do not fulfill these criteria may begin in our fast-track management training program.

Physical requirements for this position encompass a range of activities such as standing for extended periods, walking short distances for deliveries, lifting and carrying heavy products, and navigating stairs during deliveries. Team members must also complete various tasks requiring bending, crouching, and reaching.

All team members are expected to operate various equipment, manage paperwork, and fulfill driving-specific duties, including delivering products safely to customers’ doors and distributing promotional materials.
