Job description:

The Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring that guest rooms, hallways, and public areas of the hotel are kept clean and visually appealing. This position requires daily servicing of guest rooms in accordance with established hotel procedures, which includes stocking carts with necessary supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing amenities while adhering to company standards and safety/security protocols. Additionally, this role may involve performing deep cleaning tasks in guest rooms and assisting with preventative maintenance duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including the setup of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for the housekeeping cart.
  • Remove all trash and soiled linens from guest rooms.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
  • May be required to disassemble furniture or items in guest rooms to facilitate deep cleaning.
  • Deep cleaning responsibilities may include changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, addressing scratches on furniture, or rehanging closet doors.
