AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the competitiveness of the hourly rate for a “Database Admin III” in Pontiac, MI, it’s important to consider industry standards for database administrators in that geographical area. As of 2023, hourly rates for Database Administrators (DBAs) generally range from $35 to $60 depending on experience, specialization, and local demand; Pontiac’s cost of living is slightly below the national average. If the offered rate falls within this range, it can be considered competitive, particularly for candidates with mid-level experience and skills in current database technologies.
