As a Registered Dietitian (RD), you will play a vital role in guiding patients, families, and facility staff in all aspects of medical nutrition therapy, fostering a healthy and healing environment. You will establish collaborative relationships with physicians and nursing staff to enhance patient satisfaction and deliver quality care tailored to each patient’s nutritional needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and implement evidence-based interventions for both inpatient and outpatient care.
  • Educate patients, families, nursing personnel, food service staff, and other facility team members about nutritional requirements.
  • Accurately document patient assessments, nutritional goals, and implemented interventions within the medical record.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff regarding patients’ nutritional statuses.
  • Oversee physician orders for therapeutic diets and nutritional supplements.
  • Participate in patient rounds and uphold clinical nutrition policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
