Position #1: Ice Arena Concessions & Ticket Booth
This role entails welcoming the public, managing inventory, processing cash transactions, balancing the cash register, and preparing and serving food products.

Requirements:

• Willingness to engage in food preparation.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Line cook experience is preferred.

Position #2: Ice Arena Maintenance / Zamboni Trainee
The responsibilities of this position include performing mechanical and general maintenance tasks, assisting in the operation of equipment such as the resurfacer and ice edger, and ensuring that the facilities are prepared for practices, games, and events. Additionally, the candidate will monitor temperature and humidity levels and take direction from the senior Zamboni driver regarding ice resurfacing tasks.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, along with a valid State of Michigan Operator’s License and a good driving record.
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment (e.g., Zamboni vehicle), ascend and descend a 12-foot ladder, stand or walk for extended periods, work in cold environments, reach overhead for tasks such as changing light bulbs or washing windows, and lift up to 60 pounds.

Compensation:

• Flexible schedule of up to 28 hours per week, including early morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Hourly wage starting at $15.00, commensurate with qualifications.
