Job description:

Do you have a positive attitude and a passion for creating a welcoming environment? The Reserve at Red Run is seeking a Housekeeper to join our team at Madison Heights’ newest senior independent living residence. Our modern facility is designed for the next generation of seniors, and we are committed to providing top-tier service and hospitality to our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general housekeeping duties within Community Member apartments, public areas, and support areas as assigned, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and kitchen areas, as well as laundering sheets and towels.
  • Manage trash collection and removal efficiently.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies necessary for effective housekeeping operations.
  • Occasionally assist with personal laundry and linens for Community Members as an additional service.
  • Uphold resident confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Document all additional services provided.
  • Follow facility policies and procedures to ensure cleaning is conducted appropriately.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous experience in residential cleaning is preferred.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication and documentation.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Willing to undergo and successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • Current TB test and physical examination may be required based on the position.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands:

  • Availability to work every other weekend is mandatory.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and support up to 100 pounds as necessary.
  • Frequent kneeling, crouching, and bending are required.
  • Must be capable of standing and sitting for the duration of the shift.
