Job description:
Manage the daily operations of the store’s e-Commerce department to accomplish sales objectives, goals, and budgetary targets. Take charge of staffing the department and cultivating team members to deliver optimal results. Uphold the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in the selection and hiring process
- Proven supervisory experience
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds multiple times throughout the day
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills
- Physical ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch multiple times per hour
- Capability to stand for extended periods and/or walk continuously

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the e-Commerce department meets or exceeds customer expectations regarding shopping ease, product variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
- Interview, select, and hire candidates for the online shopping department.
- Manage product flow demands and create schedules in accordance with established guidelines.
- Develop associates to meet productivity standards and complete certification as they reach or exceed goals.
- Verify that associates comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as all food safety protocols and company policies.
- Train associates in all functions and responsibilities related to the order selector and customer attendant positions.
- Lead the team in planning, implementing, and executing the initiatives of the e-Commerce department.
- Achieve or surpass weekly, period, annual sales, wage budget, and other targeted objectives, including customer satisfaction that fosters repeat business.
- Assist in analyzing and responding to competitive market conditions.
- Ensure timely and effective fulfillment of orders, including sourcing requested products or suitable substitutes.
- Implement best practices for determining appropriate substitutions in the event of out-of-stock items.
- Follow established processes to streamline order collection, product management, checkouts, and delivery.
- Report inventory issues, including out-of-stock items, to department heads promptly.
- Troubleshoot equipment and devices within the e-Commerce department.
- Provide feedback to the store management team, district manager, field specialist, coordinators, and division e-Commerce manager regarding the effectiveness of operational plans and programs.
- Communicate inventory allocation issues to the division KOMPASS team.
- Monitor and manage departmental expenses.
- Ensure preventive maintenance is performed on all departmental equipment.
- Supervise and mentor direct reports in their roles, conduct performance reviews, and furnish constructive feedback.
