Job description:
Responsible for supporting physicians in delivering patient care, as well as performing clerical, organizational, and environmental tasks. This role includes managing appointment scheduling and charting responsibilities. This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week within the Radiation Therapy Clinic. Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience:
1. A High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience is required for new hires effective April 2014.
2. Medical Assistant certification is preferred, along with prior experience as a medical assistant, nurse assistant, or in other related healthcare roles.
3. At least one year of experience in a public contact position is desirable.
4. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
