AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $12 – $12.50 for a (Student) Front Desk Assistant in Grand Rapids, MI, is generally below the competitive range for similar roles in the region. As of 2023, the average hourly wage for entry-level administrative positions in Grand Rapids typically ranges from $14 to $17, reflecting the local cost of living and demand for such roles. Additionally, considering that this is a student position, the offered wage may cater to part-time students seeking flexibility; however, it still falls short of attracting a broader talent pool.
