AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the competitiveness of the hourly rate for a “Restaurant Bartender” in Ferndale, MI, we can look at the industry standards and regional trends. As of 2023, the average hourly wage for bartenders in the U.S. ranges from $10 to $20, not including tips, which can significantly increase overall earnings. In an area like Ferndale, with its vibrant dining and nightlife scene, rates tend to lean towards the higher end of this spectrum. If the offered rate is within this range or above it, factoring in a competitive tip culture, it would be considered competitive and aligned with industry standards. However, if the rate is significantly below average, it may not attract skilled bartenders, suggesting a need for reassessment to ensure retention and recruitment of talent.
