Job description:

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator II to become a vital part of their maintenance department. In this role, you will support the maintenance team and contribute to the overall efficiency of operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, demonstrate the ability to effectively plan and organize work tasks, and have basic personal computer skills, with proficiency in MS Outlook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create maintenance purchase orders and oversee the restocking of spare parts, including the entire process from requesting and receiving to inventory control using the company’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Manage vendor relationships by analyzing pricing and lead times, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct cycle counts to verify physical inventory levels and provide recommendations to refine inventory management, preventing stockouts, while forecasting parts purchasing needs based on historical data.
  • Maintain a well-organized, high-standard housekeeping environment for all parts and materials, executing space management activities to guarantee safe and orderly storage in alignment with effective material handling and inventory control practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to plan and schedule third-party services for equipment, as well as manage preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and rebuilds. Regularly audit and oversee active work order statuses to ensure work priorities are accurately maintained and transparent.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 months of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Proficient in data entry and inventory management.
  • Strong planning and scheduling skills.
