Job Title: Direct Service Professional – Male caregiver
Company: Help at Home
Location: Inkster, MI
Pay: $17 – 18 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17 – $18 for a “Direct Service Professional – Male Caregiver” in Inkster, MI, is somewhat competitive but may be on the lower end for this role, depending on experience and responsibilities. In general, salaries for direct service professionals who provide support to individuals with disabilities or those requiring personal care typically range from $15 to $25 per hour in Michigan, with urban areas often seeing rates on the higher end due to cost of living and demand for services. While this rate may attract candidates looking for entry-level positions or those with minimal experience, more experienced caregivers or those with specialized skills may seek higher compensation, indicating that employers might need to consider adjusting pay to attract and retain quality staff in this essential caregiving field.
