Job Title: Direct Service Professional – 12p-4p

Company: Help at Home

Location: Southgate, MI

Pay: $17 – 18 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17 – $18 for a Direct Service Professional working from 12 PM to 4 PM in Southgate, MI, appears to be modestly competitive, particularly for entry-level positions in the social services sector. According to various salary surveys and job postings in the region, Direct Service Professionals typically earn between $15 and $22 per hour, with rates fluctuating based on experience, specific duties, and the employing organization. While the offered rate is within the acceptable range, it may lean toward the lower end of the spectrum, especially given the increasing demand for such roles in supporting individuals with disabilities or mental health challenges, which may warrant higher compensation. Therefore, while it aligns with industry standards, prospective candidates might seek slightly higher wages commensurate with the essential and sometimes demanding nature of the work.
