Job Summary:
The role involves processing member purchases courteously and efficiently, which includes verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering various membership products, as well as scanning merchandise and handling different payment methods. Major Tasks and Key Accountabilities:

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all BJ’s Membership options, emphasizing the importance of renewals and upgrades to BJ’s Loyalty programs.
• Offer appropriate membership products such as renewals, EASY renewals, loyalty programs, and rewards redemption.
• Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring timely checkout for members.
• Accurately scan club merchandise through the point-of-sale system to ensure correct inventory counts and purchase totals.
• Process payments in various forms, including cash, checks, and charge transactions.
• Issue receipts or change to members as necessary.
• Stay informed on merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information, leveraging coupon redemption.
• Maintain cleanliness in the frontline area and assist in club housekeeping when needed.
• Return re-sellable merchandise to the sales floor.
