Job description:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the following key tasks:

– Ensuring the timely completion of work orders and special projects.
– Addressing plumbing and electrical service requests efficiently.
– Managing apartment turnover processes, which include:
– Plumbing repairs
– Electrical repairs
– Drywall repair
– Painting
– Appliance repair and replacement
– Providing exceptional service to residents in a friendly, customer-oriented manner.
– Diagnosing and resolving issues related to electrical systems.
– Responding promptly to service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
– Assisting in the daily upkeep of the property’s exterior to ensure it consistently presents an appealing curbside appearance.
– Performing housekeeping tasks as needed, including snow removal during winter months when applicable.
– Conducting maintenance of pools, spas, and surrounding areas, if relevant to the property.

Qualifications for this role include:

– Prior experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing is preferred, but not mandatory.
– Strong customer service skills and basic computer literacy.
– Proven skills in plumbing, electrical work, appliance maintenance, and painting.
– Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Certifications and licenses in plumbing, contracting, or construction are advantageous. Availability for on-call work and flexibility to work weekends, when necessary, is highly valued.
