This part-time associate position involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators play a vital role in introducing customers to new and exciting items and brands through product tasting events, sampling, and demonstrations. While experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or as a brand ambassador is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers by effectively communicating key points about the products.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during the preparation of samples (cooking, processing, plating, and serving).
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
  • Preference for availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday); holiday and weekday work may also be available.
  • Must have reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
  • Capability to safely operate small appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate).
  • Ability to stand and perform the event duties for its duration.
