AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the hourly rate for the “CDL Driver I – Oversize Load” role in Ellsworth, MI, it’s essential to consider several factors including industry standards, regional demand, and local cost of living. As of late 2023, the average hourly wage for CDL drivers generally ranges from $20 to $30 depending on experience, specialization, and market conditions. Given that Ellsworth is a smaller town, rates may tend to be on the lower end of this spectrum; however, specialized roles such as driving oversize loads can often command higher pay due to the additional skills and certifications required. Therefore, if the offered rate falls within or above this range and takes into account the local competitive landscape, it could be considered competitive. Moreover, the demand for CDL drivers, especially for specialized roles, has remained strong, which could also justify a higher wage. Ultimately, for a comprehensive assessment, it would be crucial to compare the specific hourly rate with similar positions in the area and consider any additional benefits or incentives associated with the job.
