Job description:

Pay: $14.25 per hour

At Great Wolf, the Host/Hostess serves as the initial point of contact for guests, playing a pivotal role in creating a welcoming dining environment. This position entails greeting guests, escorting them to their designated tables, and attentively monitoring their needs throughout their dining experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Extend a warm welcome to patrons and escort them to their assigned dining area while effectively tracking table availability utilizing the floor plan board.
  • Inform guests of ongoing promotions and communicate their assigned server.
  • Manage the patron waitlist as required.
  • Uphold the establishment’s reputation as well as patron safety by strictly adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies.
  • Support the dining room team by setting and clearing tables, replenishing water, and serving beverages as necessary.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate business demands, including availability on nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
