Pay: $7 per hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist patrons in their food and beverage selections by presenting the menu, recommending cocktails, appetizers, and courses, explaining chef specialties, suggesting appropriate wines, and addressing dietary needs.
  • Transmit orders accurately to the bar and kitchen by recording patrons’ choices and identifying any special dietary requirements or requests.
  • Keep kitchen staff informed regarding the timing of meal progression.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently by delivering orders from the bar and kitchen, including necessary accompaniments and condiments as requested.
  • Respond to additional patron needs by proactively inquiring and observing during the dining experience.
  • Maintain an orderly table setting by clearing completed courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling water glasses, while also being vigilant about spills or other special requests.
  • Process payments by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, and returning change or credit card slips to patrons.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to sanitation practices, safety protocols, and alcohol beverage control policies.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

  • Some high school education or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) relevant to cash handling.
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
