The House Attendant is responsible for supporting the housekeeping team by cleaning guest rooms, managing laundry tasks, and enhancing overall guest satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assess inventory levels in the storeroom upon arrival and restock as necessary
  • Assist Room Attendants by removing linens and trash
  • Support the cleaning of guest rooms and making beds as required
  • Transport soiled linens from vacated rooms to the laundry department
  • Deliver clean linens from the laundry to storerooms
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storerooms
  • Provide requested items such as irons, ironing boards, rollaway beds, and cribs to guest rooms
  • Operate trash compactor and cardboard baler
  • Retrieve and return any previously used guest requests found in rooms or hallways
  • Communicate with management regarding special requests or duties

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Flexibility in scheduling based on business needs
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary
