A typical day in the life of an Assistant General Manager may include:

  • Supervising daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with KFC’s standards and policies.

Requirements: What you bring to the table:

  • A minimum of one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in a food service or retail environment with Profit & Loss responsibility, preferably within the quick-service restaurant (QSR) sector.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
  • Capability to lift, carry, stack, push, or pull heavy objects, and the ability to stand and walk consistently throughout shifts. Must also navigate compact spaces safely and operate restaurant equipment.

Assistant General Managers are entitled to compensation that reflects their skills and experience. Compensation will vary based on various factors as permitted by law and will be discussed during the hiring process. The expected starting compensation ranges for new hires in this position across different states and jurisdictions are as follows:

  • All other locations: $12.00 to $22.00 per hour
  • State of Maryland: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour
  • State of New York: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour
  • New York City: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
  • Cincinnati, OH: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
  • Toledo, OH: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
