Job Description
Job Title: Line Cook, Detroit Hockeytown Restaurant
Company: Delaware North
Location: Detroit, MI
Pay: $16 – 18 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $16 – $18 for a “Line Cook” position at Detroit Hockeytown Restaurant in Detroit, MI, is generally on the lower end of the wage scale for the restaurant industry, especially within urban areas. As of 2023, the average hourly wage for line cooks in Detroit typically ranges from $15 to $20, with experienced cooks earning up to $23 or more depending on the establishment. Factors such as benefits, tips, and work environment can impact overall compensation, but this rate may not attract skilled candidates in a competitive job market, especially considering rising living costs and inflation in urban regions. Therefore, while the offered pay falls within a reasonable spectrum, it may be less competitive compared to similar positions in the area.
