Job description:

Pay: $14.25 per hour

At Great Wolf, the role of Host/Hostess serves as the initial point of contact for guests, playing a pivotal role in creating a welcoming dining experience. The Host/Hostess is tasked with greeting guests, guiding them to their designated tables, and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcome patrons and escort them to their assigned dining area, while effectively tracking table availability using the floor plan board.
  • Inform customers of ongoing promotions and inform them about their assigned server.
  • Manage the patron waitlist as necessary.
  • Safeguard the establishment and its patrons by strictly following sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies.
  • Assist the dining room staff by setting and clearing tables, replenishing water, and serving beverages as required.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • Must demonstrate flexibility in scheduling based on business demands, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening is required.
