AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the hourly rate for a Medical Assistant in Detroit, MI, it’s essential to consider the current industry standards and local economic conditions. As of 2023, the average hourly pay for Medical Assistants in the United States typically ranges from $15 to $20 per hour, with specific salaries in urban areas like Detroit often reflecting local demand and cost of living adjustments. If the hourly rate you have in mind falls within or slightly above this range, it can be considered competitive; however, if it is significantly lower, it may not attract qualified candidates due to the higher living costs in metropolitan areas. Additionally, factors such as benefits, job responsibilities, and the working environment can also influence whether the pay is seen as attractive.
