Job Title: CDL Driver I

Company: Zeeland Standand

Location: Kalamazoo, MI

Pay: $25 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of my last update in October 2023, an hourly rate of $25 for a “CDL Driver I” in Kalamazoo, MI, is generally competitive but may vary based on experience, qualifications, and specific responsibilities. Nationwide, the average hourly wage for a commercial truck driver can range from $20 to $30, with regional variations influenced by demand, cost of living, and the types of cargo being transported. In Michigan, and specifically in Kalamazoo, $25 per hour is within the standard range for entry-level to moderately experienced drivers, but it may be considered on the lower end for those with significant experience or specialized endorsements. Ultimately, this rate aligns with industry standards, though factors such as benefits, overtime, and job stability should also be taken into account when assessing overall competitiveness.
