Job description:

The Agent will undertake a range of armed security assignments, including concierge-level, residential, and event security, as well as response services, basic driving duties, and investigative tasks. This role specifically involves serving as a security presence for a banking client. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Essential Functions:

  1. Uphold Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Provide the client with concierge-level security at designated locations and events, which includes:
    • De-escalating tense situations or individuals as they arise.
    • Preparing detailed incident reports for any events or occurrences that necessitate documentation.
  3. Conduct comprehensive investigations and compile investigative reports.
  4. Offer response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high-risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disasters, civil unrest, and threat monitoring.
  5. Safely transport the client to and from company locations and events.
  6. Secure the client’s residential perimeter, which may involve:
    • Monitoring CCTV, managing access controls, and responding to alarms as necessary.
  7. Identify and report any equipment deficiencies or failures.
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or GED, along with a minimum of three years of experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles. A Michigan Security License, Michigan CPL, as well as certification in First Aid, AED, and CPR, are mandatory.
