Agency Customer Service Representative/Trainer Objective
The primary objective of the Agency Customer Service Representative/Trainer is to empower the Field Force for success by delivering comprehensive customer service. This role involves preparing essential information for independent contractor insurance agents to effectively quote, sell, and service their clients, while maintaining a standard of exceptional customer service that is prompt and professional. Responsibilities include providing operator service during regular business hours, managing all incoming calls to the Area Service Office (ASO) with courtesy and efficiency, and proactively researching and resolving policy issues. This position also entails assisting agents and customers through various communication channels and overseeing daily office operations, including administration duties. The representative will act as a multi-line subject matter expert for field staff, manage employee schedules, order office supplies, adhere to budgetary constraints, and assign daily tasks. Additionally, the role includes delivering training for all lines of business and products to ASO staff, agent staff, and agents.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the Agency Customer Service Representative/Trainer include assisting customers and prospective clients with inquiries related to billing, insurance coverage, and member benefits. The representative will engage in face-to-face interactions with ASO Field Customer Service Representatives, agent staff, Agents, Managing Partners, and insured individuals. Responsibilities also encompass receiving, processing, and verifying insurance and membership transactions, taking ownership of complaints and inquiries while ensuring proactive follow-through to resolution. The representative will handle customer payments, conduct bank deposits, and manage all monetary transactions in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications
Required qualifications for the Agency Customer Service Representative/Trainer include a high school diploma or equivalent; strong computer proficiency with demonstrated skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. An active Property and Casualty (P/C) license is required, or must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Accurate keyboarding skills are essential, along with a commitment to ongoing job-related training and education.

Preferred qualifications include an Associate’s degree focused on business administration, FBCISR, AINS, CIC, management, insurance, or finance, or equivalent experience. Additionally, a minimum of one year of experience in insurance processing, along with one year of professional office experience and customer service expertise, is preferred.
