Fox Motors is seeking a Product Specialist at Fox Mazda in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you will play a vital part in realizing our vision of "Working together moving people throughout life" by fostering trust with customers to cultivate long-lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Consultant, you will hold a position of trust, ensuring exceptional purchasing experiences for our customers. Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers, consulting effectively, utilizing dealership systems for follow-up, and delivering the highest standard of customer service to facilitate enduring business relationships. We invite competitive, career-focused individuals who are eager to innovate within a professional and dynamic sales environment. Previous automotive sales experience is not required; we welcome candidates from backgrounds such as bartending, personal training, or hospitality to embark on their career at Fox. Key responsibilities encompass the following, with additional tasks potentially assigned:

  • Approach, greet, and assist customers entering the dealership showroom or sales lot.
  • Stay updated with the latest product information to maintain a high standard of vehicle knowledge.
  • Provide customers with detailed specifications (performance, safety, benefits, etc.) regarding all vehicles.
  • Conduct high-quality, professional demonstrations of vehicle features.
  • Utilize dealership systems to ensure pre- and post-sale follow-ups that help build and maintain a client database.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of vehicle valuations, finance products, and Fox programs.
  • Adhere to Fox processes throughout the vehicle delivery process.
  • Introduce customers to various dealership points of interest.
  • Assist in showroom preparation, ensuring a robust selection of vehicles is available and that the environment remains presentable for customers.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service, providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • A proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • A team-oriented attitude coupled with a high-energy personality.
