The Assistant Service Center Manager will collaborate closely with the Service Center Manager to oversee the Service Technicians and the Automotive Service Center. The responsibilities of the Assistant Service Center Manager include:

– Addressing and resolving customer concerns
– Providing technical guidance and training to service technicians and advisors
– Supervising Service Center staff
– Performing technician responsibilities as necessary
– Ensuring compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies

To qualify for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

– Valid driver’s license
– Excellent communication skills
– Previous experience in automotive maintenance is preferred
– Supervisory experience is advantageous
– Retail experience is preferred
– Availability to work evenings as needed and at least every other weekend
– Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background checks
– Willingness to obtain ASE Certification in A4 Steering and Suspension and A5 Brakes within the first year of employment

Additionally, the following qualifications are required:

– Must possess or have the capacity to obtain forklift certification
– Proficient in reading, speaking, and communicating in English with customers and co-workers
– For Michigan stores only: ASE A4 and A6 Certifications are required for Tech Level II; ASE A3, A4, A5, and A6 Certifications or equivalent Michigan certifications are required for Tech Level III
