We are excited to offer a remarkable opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our distinguished care team at Trinity Health Livonia. Our full-service, 304-bed acute care hospital, located in Livonia, MI, provides comprehensive medical services, including a 24-hour emergency department, general medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, an intensive care unit, cancer care, cardiology, geriatrics, and women’s health. Following several major expansions, Trinity Health Livonia consistently delivers the highest quality health and medical services, earning numerous awards for excellence in clinical outcomes, patient safety, financial performance, and efficiency.
The 2 South unit features 40 beds designated for Surgical/Telemetry and PCU Overflow, with a primary emphasis on surgical, bariatric, joint replacement, and spinal procedures.
SUMMARY:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for overseeing the management of patient care within a specified timeframe. Responsibilities include coordinating and evaluating care, educating patients, and delegating activities to other healthcare team members through the therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate’s degree in Nursing required. Candidates holding an Associate’s degree must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
– Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan is mandatory.
– Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
– Previous experience in medical-surgical nursing is preferred.
– Proficiency in computer skills and excellent customer service abilities are essential.
