Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the Front Office, Reservations, PBX, Bell Services, and Kids Experience departments.
- Fulfill human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orientating, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicate job expectations; and enforce policies and procedures.
- Achieve operational objectives in guest services by contributing insights to strategic plans, preparing action plans, establishing productivity, quality, and customer service standards, resolving issues, conducting audits, identifying trends, and implementing improvements.
- Foster guest confidence by maintaining service excellence, encouraging repeat visits, and transforming the resort into a cherished family destination.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing and enforcing procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Maintain professional knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading relevant publications, maintaining professional networks, and engaging with industry organizations, while enhancing resort reputation through ownership of diverse requests and exploring opportunities for added value.
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of previous Guest Service management experience, demonstrating a strong capability to develop comprehensive organizational plans and effectively manage teams to achieve individual and organizational goals.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience at a Director level in a family-themed resort.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize various tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proven teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Enthusiastic and energetic approach to work.
- Excellent communication abilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Capability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
