GENERAL FUNCTION
The Sales Associate is pivotal in exemplifying the highest standards of quality in eye care and eyewear. This position ensures that each patient and customer enjoys an exceptional experience at every LensCrafters store, solidifying our reputation as the premier destination for vision needs within the community.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve sales targets and company objectives by nurturing existing customer relationships while cultivating new ones.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend tailored lenses and lens coatings.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames, ensuring compatibility with optical measurements and aiding them in finding the ideal vision solution.
  • Conduct precise measurements with suitable optical tools and consult with the Optician as required.
  • Actively engage in creating a positive store environment, promoting strong professional relationships with colleagues, management, doctors, and support staff (Target Host partners).
  • Take pride in the store’s appearance, demonstrating initiative in maintaining clean, attractive, and organized displays and inventory.
  • Contribute to an inclusive culture by treating both customers and colleagues with respect.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, coupled with basic phone and math skills.
  • Adaptability to new technology and change, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Proven ability to sell, utilizing effective sales techniques and demonstrating accountability for achieving sales results while striving to meet goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • A self-motivated individual with the ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a dynamic environment.
