AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the hourly rate for the “Assistant Store Manager PT” position in Benton Harbor, MI, it’s crucial to compare it against regional and national wage standards for similar roles. As of 2023, assistant store managers in the retail industry generally earn between $15 to $25 per hour, depending on factors like experience, store type, and additional responsibilities. In Benton Harbor, which has a lower cost of living compared to larger urban areas, a competitive wage for this role would likely fall within the lower to mid-end of that range. Therefore, if the offered hourly rate is near or above $20, it would be considered competitive and aligned with industry standards for part-time positions in that region. Conversely, rates significantly below this average may struggle to attract qualified candidates.
