Job description:

Pay: $7 per hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist patrons in selecting food and beverages by presenting the menu, offering recommendations, explaining chef’s specialties, and addressing dietary needs or restrictions.
  • Accurately record and transmit orders to the bar and kitchen, ensuring that special requests are noted.
  • Maintain open communication with kitchen staff regarding meal progression.
  • Serve orders promptly by delivering patrons’ selections along with required accompaniments.
  • Anticipate and respond to additional patron needs throughout the dining experience.
  • Maintain table settings by clearing completed courses, replenishing utensils, and addressing any spills or special requests swiftly.
  • Process payments by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payment, and delivering change or receipts to patrons.
  • Uphold the establishment’s reputation by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

  • Completion of some high school education or equivalent.
