Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Company: IMPACT Wells Street Group Home

Location: Port Huron, MI

Pay: $17.95 – 18.95 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17.95 to $18.95 for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Port Huron, MI, appears to be somewhat competitive but may be on the lower end of the spectrum when compared to broader industry standards. According to various salary surveys, DSP positions typically earn between $18 to $24 per hour depending on experience, location, and specific responsibilities, with some areas and roles offering higher wages due to demand and the rising cost of living. While Port Huron may have a lower cost of living compared to larger metro areas, the given rate may still reflect challenges in attracting and retaining qualified professionals in the field, especially as many providers increase wages to compete for talent. Overall, while the rate may be viable locally, it could be enhanced to better align with industry trends and retain qualified staff.
