As a Physical Therapist, you will collaborate closely with the following support staff:

  • Education Director: Facilitates educational opportunities, including Continuing Education Unit (CEU) courses, Clinical Instructor (CI) placements, and mentorship programs.
  • Front Office Coordinator: Oversees front desk operations, patient appointments, and new patient registration.
  • Technician-Aides: Assist with patient care and related needs under the supervision of the therapist.
  • Corporate Billing Department: Handles all patient insurance verifications and billing processes.
  • Marketing Department: Develops marketing materials to enhance clinic visibility and manages corporate social media presence and advertising.
  • Business Development Team: Drives and manages patient referrals to the clinic.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial physical therapy evaluations in accordance with APTA standards.
  • Develop individualized plans of care based on evaluation findings.
  • Understand insurance reimbursement standards and design clinically superior patient programs to enhance patient success.
  • Ensure compliance excellence by establishing short- and long-term goals for patients.
  • Implement the plan of care and provide comprehensive therapy to enhance patient well-being and optimize functionality.
  • Regularly communicate patient progress to referring physicians and other healthcare professionals involved in the patient’s treatment.
  • Create and document home exercise plans to maximize the benefits of physical therapy.
  • Plan and execute effective patient discharge processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge in physical therapy practices through workshops and continuing education.
  • Communicate professionally with various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, insurance companies, case managers, and others.
