Position Summary

  • Laundry Worker: Responsible for collecting, sorting, and loading soiled linen into washers, loading and folding clean linens, recording linen processed daily, ensuring proper deliveries to units, and maintaining a clean and sanitized work area, including machines and sorting areas.
  • Safety: Ensure the proper use of PPE and adherence to safety guidelines when handling cleaning solutions. Timely reporting of equipment or supply needs is essential. Must follow infection control and universal precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Punctuality: Consistent attendance and timely task completion are required. Respond promptly to paging systems.
  • Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by adhering to instructions and maintaining courteous and cooperative interactions with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Resident Experience: Engage in positive and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

  • A positive attitude with the ability to follow both oral and written instructions is essential, along with the capacity to perform routine, repetitive tasks.
  • After appropriate training, candidates should demonstrate leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently and safely.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
