Job description:
Travel Remodel Merchandiser – Night Shift, $18 to $19 per hour

SPAR is expanding our overnight reset and remodel team! By joining our full-time racking team consisting of Reset Construction professionals, you will play a vital role in transforming the interiors of home improvement retail chains. This position requires overnight work from 9 PM to 6 AM, where you will engage in building heavy steel racking, pallet racking, as well as assembling and installing shelving and fixtures. We are seeking individuals with prior experience in construction, resets, remodels, fixture installation, or general labor, making this an ideal opportunity for those with relevant backgrounds. The successful candidate will be self-sufficient, highly motivated, comfortable with tools, and driven to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Please note that joining our Racking Team is a prerequisite for advancement to the Senior Project Manager position.

What You’ll Do:
– Remain focused on remodeling big box retail stores during the overnight shift
– Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
– Relocate products from old to new pallet racking systems
– Build and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
– Collaborate with planograms on all items tagged and approved by store management
– Update signage, shelf conditions, and complete schematics
– Engage in significant physical activity, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
– Capability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and to work overnight from 9 PM to 6 AM
– Ability to take direction for tagging, rotating, and placing products on shelves
– Comfortable with climbing ladders and working at heights of 20 feet as required
– Experience lifting up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
– Proficiency with basic hand and power tools (candidates must provide their own hard hat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
– Prior planogram experience is preferred
– Strong teamwork and communication skills
– Familiarity with basic tools necessary for the job
– Dependable transportation, and possession of a valid driver’s license
– Personal cell phone and valid email address are required
– Professional appearance and demeanor
– Appropriate work footwear must be worn on the job site
