AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the hourly rate for a Full Time Cook in Kalamazoo, MI, it is important to compare it against the prevailing wages in the area and industry standards. As of 2023, the average hourly wage for cooks in Michigan typically ranges from $13 to $20, depending on experience and type of establishment. If the rate offered aligns with or exceeds this range, it can be considered competitive. Factors such as benefits, cost of living in Kalamazoo, and the specific requirements of the role also play a significant role in determining the competitiveness of the rate.
