Job description:
Travel Remodel Merchandiser – Nights – $18 to $19

SPAR is expanding its overnight reset and remodel team! As a full-time member of our racking team, you will engage in remodeling projects within leading home improvement retail chains. This role requires working overnight shifts from 9 PM to 6 AM, focusing on the assembly and installation of heavy steel and pallet racking systems, as well as shelving and fixtures. If you possess experience in construction, resets, remodels, fixture installation, racking, or general labor, this opportunity could be an ideal match for you. What You’ll Do:
– Oversee overnight remodeling of large retail stores
– Remove and replace damaged steel racking systems, including cantilever towers
– Transition products from outdated to new pallet racking
– Build and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
– Collaborate with Plan-O-Grams on all tagged and approved items with store management
– Update signage, shelf conditions, and complete schematics
– Engage in significant physical activity, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
– Capacity to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnight shifts from 9 PM to 6 AM
– Ability to follow instructions for tagging, rotating, and shelving products
– Comfortable navigating ladders and working at heights of 20 feet as necessary
– Proven ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
– Experience using basic hand and power tools (candidates must provide their own hard hat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
– Planogram experience is preferred
– Strong teamwork and communication skills
– Knowledge of basic tools required for the role
– Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
– Personal cell phone and valid email address are essential
– Professional appearance and demeanor
– Appropriate work footwear is mandatory on the job site
