Travel Remodel Merchandiser – Nights ($18 to $19/hour)

SPAR is expanding its overnight reset and remodel team! As a member of this full-time racking team composed of Reset Construction professionals, you will participate in the transformation of the interiors of home improvement retail chains. The role requires working overnight shifts from 9 PM to 6 AM, where you will build heavy-duty steel racking, assemble and install pallet racking, and set up shelving and fixtures. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in construction, resets, remodels, fixture installation, or general labor. We seek self-sufficient, highly motivated candidates who are adept with tools and driven to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:
– Execute overnight remodeling assignments in large retail stores
– Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
– Transition products from old pallet racking to new solutions
– Construct and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
– Collaborate with Plan-O-Grams on all approved items as tagged by store management
– Update signage, shelf conditions, and finalize schematics
– Engage in significant physical labor, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
– Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours while working overnight (9 PM – 6 AM)
– Capacity to follow instructions regarding product tagging, rotation, and placement on shelves
– Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights of up to 20 feet as needed
– Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs.
– Proficient in using basic hand and power tools (personal hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools required)
– Planogram experience is preferred
– Strong teamwork and communication skills
– Familiarity with basic tools essential for job functions
– Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
– Personal cell phone and valid email address required
– Professional appearance and demeanor
– Appropriate work footwear is mandatory on the job site
