Job Description
Job Title: Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide
Company: Healthcare Services Group
Location: Milford, MI
Pay: $15 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 for a Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide in Milford, MI, is somewhat competitive, though it may vary based on specific regional and institutional factors. As of late 2023, similar roles in the food service industry, especially in healthcare and institutional settings, typically range from $12 to $18 per hour, with some positions offering higher wages due to experience or specific certifications. Given that Milford is part of the broader Detroit metropolitan area, the cost of living and average wage trends should also be considered; while $15 is generally within the lower-middle range, it may be seen as marginally low compared to demands for experience and the rising minimum wage in Michigan. Overall, employers may need to assess this rate in light of labor market competition, potential employee retention issues, and the cost of living in the area.

Compensation Range: Pay rate $15 per hour.
