Job Description
Job Title: Server (Bar)
Company: Kewadin Casinos
Location: Manistique, MI
Pay: $9.64 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $9.64 for a “Server (Bar)” position in Manistique, MI, is below the national average for similar roles, especially considering the minimum wage in Michigan is $10.10 as of 2023. Server wages can vary significantly based on location, establishment type, and experience, but typical rates for bar servers generally range from $12 to $20 per hour, excluding tips. In a small town like Manistique, where cost of living might be lower, rates may be slightly less, yet $9.64 remains uncompetitive and may indicate that the employer is not offering a salary that reflects the demands of the job or the local market conditions. Additionally, it is important to consider potential tips, which can substantially increase overall earnings in the service industry.
