Job Title: Line Cook – Byron Center (Weekend Availability Required)
Company: Anna’s House
Location: Byron Center, MI
Pay: $15 – 21 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 to $21 for a Line Cook position in Byron Center, MI, particularly with a requirement for weekend availability, falls within the lower to mid-range of industry standards for similar roles. According to data from various job platforms and industry surveys, the average hourly wage for line cooks in Michigan generally hovers around $15 to $20, with higher rates in urban areas or for more experienced cooks. However, factors such as cost of living, local demand for restaurant staff, and the specific requirements of the job can influence competitiveness. In this context, the offered rate appears to be fairly competitive, especially for entry-level positions, but may be somewhat modest for experienced cooks, particularly if weekend shifts are expected to come with additional responsibilities or pressure.
