Position Summary
- Kitchen Helper / Dietary Aide: Assist the Cook in meal preparation and service, including placing prepared food on plates and trays in accordance with established policies. Responsible for the delivery of food and trays, dishwashing, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness to health standards.
- Safety: Ensure the safe mixing and usage of cleaning solutions while adhering to all safety protocols. Promptly report any equipment or product malfunctions to supervisors and meet established standards for quality and safety.
- Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, complete assigned tasks within specified timelines, and respond promptly to the paging system.
- Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by following instructions and displaying courtesy and cooperation with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
- Resident Interaction: Engage in positive and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Qualifications
- Exhibit a positive attitude and the ability to follow both oral and written instructions, performing routine and repetitive tasks consistently.
- After completing training, effectively apply leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently while ensuring personal safety and the safety of others.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; specialized training in food service is desirable. Completion of an approved sanitation and safety course may be required.
- Current ServSafe certification is mandated by state or county law.

- Residency within the service area is required.
