Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Manager to oversee and enhance our cloud infrastructure and IT systems. This pivotal role involves configuring, managing, and optimizing cloud resources while ensuring the security and operational efficiency of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both cloud and systems management, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality technical support and implementing robust security measures.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Configure, manage, and monitor server instances, databases, storage, and networking within cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain comprehensive cloud security measures, including firewalls, access policies, and security audits.
- Optimize cloud resources to achieve maximum performance and cost efficiency.
Systems Management:
- Administer operating systems across servers and other devices, ensuring regular updates and prompt application of security patches.
- Manage network configurations and settings to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.
- Utilize monitoring and diagnostic tools to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
Technical Support and Service Desk:
- Oversee ticket management and problem resolution through the service desk.
- Provide level 2 and level 3 support for complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to tackle cross-departmental challenges effectively.
Information Security:
- Develop and enforce information security policies aimed at safeguarding sensitive data and systems against potential threats.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate risks.
Automation and Scripting:
- Create scripts and automate routine tasks to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement automation tools to streamline configuration processes and infrastructure provisioning.
VIP User Management:
- Provide personalized technical support and configuration services for VIP users, ensuring their needs are prioritized and addressed promptly.
- Ensure the efficient and satisfactory resolution of technical issues faced by VIP personnel.
Documentation and Training:
- Document IT procedures and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and compliance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or in a similar role.
