AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the competitiveness of the hourly rate for an “Environmental Technician I” in Lansing, MI, it’s important to compare it against the average wages in the region and the specific industry. As of my last update, environmental technicians typically earn between $18 to $25 per hour, depending on experience and education. Given Lansing’s cost of living and local demand for environmental services, an hourly rate within this range can be considered competitive. Additionally, factors such as job benefits, opportunities for advancement, and specific responsibilities associated with the role should also be taken into account when assessing overall compensation. If the offered rate is significantly below this range, it may not be competitive enough to attract qualified candidates.
