Job description:

Our franchise organization, Mohave GC, LLC, operating as Golden Corral, is currently seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team as Utility Person / Dishwasher. This role is vital to enhancing our guests’ dining experience, as cleanliness is consistently rated as the most important factor in their decision to return. Each Utility Person / Dishwasher is expected to acquire the skills, knowledge, and expertise necessary to perform their duties with excellence.

The Utility Person / Dishwasher will be responsible for ensuring general cleanliness both inside and outside the restaurant, with dishwashing forming a core aspect of this position.

Cleanliness Responsibilities:

  • Provide guests with clean, sparkling silverware and dishes.
  • Maintain a pleasant and safe environment by cleaning the interior of the restaurant.
  • Clean and maintain the exterior of the building, including the parking lot.
  • Regularly check, clean, and stock restrooms.
  • Empty trash into the dumpster and ensure that the dumpster, trash cans, and back dock area are kept clean.
  • Thoroughly clean and organize the utility area.
  • Adhere to the duty roster to ensure cleanliness, services, and quality standards are met.
  • Comply with local health department regulations.

Operational Excellence Responsibilities:

  • Stock cook, line, and server areas with the appropriate glassware, silverware, and dishes.
  • Maintain excellent organization, speed, and cleanliness in all tasks.
  • Report any equipment or facility issues to the Manager.

Guest Service Responsibilities:

  • Understand and follow responsibilities related to just-in-time deliveries.
