Job description:
You will play a crucial role in enhancing the resident experience by ensuring the maintenance and functionality of the facility, including its building, systems, and grounds. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will be essential in monitoring, coordinating, and performing building maintenance, services, and repairs. You will also be responsible for developing and guiding your staff while managing the budget, equipment, and other resources effectively. Additionally, you will contribute significantly to the facility’s safety program.

Your work schedule will primarily align with traditional business hours; however, flexibility is required to address on-demand facility needs, whether on-site or off-site.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of two years of experience in physical plant and equipment within an institutional setting, including supervisory or management responsibilities. A current understanding of state and federal laws and regulations relevant to laundry and housekeeping practices in long-term care is essential. Strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as effective oral and written communication abilities, are required.
