Position Summary

  • Housekeeping: Carry out housekeeping and cleaning duties, which include dusting and damp mopping floors in assigned areas, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, patient room furniture, and other designated areas. Responsible for the removal and disposal of trash, along with all other related duties as assigned.
  • Safety: Utilize protective gear appropriately and ensure the safe mixing and use of cleaning solutions while following all safety protocols. Report any equipment or cleaning product needs and malfunctions to the supervisor promptly. Maintain established standards for safety and quality, and adhere to infection control and universal precaution procedures to ensure a sanitary environment.
  • Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, completing cleaning duties in accordance with the established schedule, and respond timely to paging systems.
  • Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by adhering to instructions and demonstrating courtesy and cooperation with supervisors, colleagues, and client staff.
  • Resident Experience: Engage in positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow both oral and written instructions, performing routine and repetitive tasks daily.
  • After completing the necessary training, utilize leadership skills to execute responsibilities independently without sustaining injuries to self or others.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must maintain punctuality and attendance as scheduled.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as mandated by State, Local, and/or Customers.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and perform tasks while standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Capability to perform routine and repetitive tasks continuously and to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Must reside in the service area.
